Message from the Superintendent

Potrait of M. Ann LevettWelcome!
The employees of Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) believe that each student can achieve great things and that it is our responsibility to provide personalized, high-quality instruction in a caring and welcoming environment.

I am a believer in and supporter of SCCPSS. I began my educational journey in this culturally rich district as a student. My dreams were fostered by teachers, administrators, and staff who worked tirelessly to ensure I had the knowledge, skills, and tools to succeed. Later, as a professional educator and now as Superintendent of Schools, I see students like me filled with excitement about learning and striving to achieve their dreams. I also see dedicated staff focused on building collaborative school communities that support the success of our young scholars.

There are many students, teachers and parents with fresh ideas and insights about the work of this district, and I am excited to engage with them, build on our legacy of success, and expand on our accomplishments. Through teamwork and a commitment to student achievement, we can continue to build a district that is focused and aligned in every way so that our graduates are college and career ready.
In service to all,

M. Ann Levett Signature
